Δημητρίου Γεννήθηκε το 1955 στο Λευκόνοικο. Έζησε στην Αμμόχωστο μέχρι το 1974. Τελείωσε την Τεχνική Σχολή Αμμοχώστου στον κλάδο κεραμικής-διακοσμητικής. Σπούδασε κεραμική, πορσελάνη και γλυπτική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Εφαρμοζομένης Τέχνης Πράγας απ’ όπου αποφοίτησε το 1983 με πρώτο βραβείο στην κλάδο κεραμικής και με τον τίτλο του Ακαδημαϊκού Γλύπτη. Από το 1983 ζει και εργάζεται στη Λάρνακα. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε πολλές εκθέσεις στην Κύπρο, Ευρώπη και Αυστραλία.

Demetriou He was born in 1955 in the Turkish occupied village of Lefkoniko. He lived in Famagusta until 1974. He graduated from the Technical School of Famagusta in the ceramics - decoration branch. He continued his studies at the University of Prague where he studied ceramics, porcelain and sculpture. He got his diploma in 1983 having won the first prize in the field of the art of ceramics, with the title of the Academic Sculptor. Since 1983 he’s been living and working in Larnaca. He took part in many exhibitions in Cyprus, Europe and Australia. |
