Βάσος Δημητρίου Γεννήθηκε στην Αμμόχωστο το 1954. Φοίτησε στην Τεχνική Σχολή Αμμοχώστου, στον κλάδο κεραμικής-αγγειοπλαστικής. Από το 1978 μέχρι και το 1981 σπούδασε κεραμική στο «Istituto D’ Arte per la Ceramica» στην πόλη Faenza της Ιταλίας. Από το 1981 αρχίζει να εκθέτει τα έργα του (Faenza, Ιταλία). Σήμερα ζει και εργάζεται στη Λάρνακα όπου διατηρεί εργαστήρι τέχνης. Έλαβε μέρος σε πλήθος εκθέσεων στην Κύπρο, Ευρώπη, Αραβικές χώρες, Αυστραλία |

Vasos Demetriou He was born in Famagusta in 1954. He studied at the Technical School of Famagusta (ceramics-pottery). From 1978 until 1981 he was at the “Istituto D’ Arte per la Ceramica” in the town of Faenza, Italy, where he studied the art of ceramics. From 1981 he started to exhibit his works (Faenza, Italy). Today, he lives and works in Larnaca where he keeps his own art workshop. He took part in many exhibitions in Cyprus, Europe, the Arab countries, Australia etc. |
