Born
in Cyprus 1933. Senior Lecturer of Art at Canterbury College of
Art. Also taught at Leeds and Leicester Polytechnic Schools.
Founder of the Cyprus Summer School of Art. Founder and
Principal of the Cyprus College of Art.
On 26
June 2008 BOLTON University awarded an honourary
doctorate to Stass Paraskos in recognition of his
services to the arts. Honourary doctorates are the
highest academic awards offered by British
Universities to distinguished artists and
scientists.
