Born in Limassol.
1960-61 studied Interior Design at the City of London College.
From Interior Design her interest led to art and antique
collecting. In London, for her own and her family’s pleasure,
painted Cyprus scenes from memory and from regular holiday
visits to sites of natural beauty on the island.
On her permanent
return to Cyprus she turned her energies to an antique gallery
business and there created collectable ‘decoupage’ items from
old traditional village utensils and implements. Greatly
encouraged by clients and friends for her decorative and
artistic talent she was thus led to consider painting on a
serious and regular basis. Self-taught, she at first worked on
traditional village scenes but always prominently featured all
the surrounding plants and flora. Gradually, her passion for
nature led her to concentrate on flowers, going ever
increasingly, into finer and closer aspects of her subject.
2002-2004
Exhibited at own Antique and Art “Gallerie Etceteria”
2003 She was selected as a permanent artist by Greek Fine Art
featuring her works on the Internet.
2004 Participated in a joint antique and art exhibition in Nicosia
Hilton with much success.
2004 Her work was used to illustrate typical Cyprus Scenes on a
widely distributed Calendar.
2005 Group Exhibition at “Gallery 47” at Russell Street, London.
