Γεννήθηκε στο Μαραθόβουνο το 1924. Σπούδασε τέχνη στο Λονδίνο, στο St. Martin’s School of Art και στο Heather’ey’s School of Art (1947-1953) και στο Παρίσι στην Ακαδημία Andre Lhote (1956-1959). Στην Κύπρο ανέπτυξε πλούσια καλλιτεχνική και πολιτιστική δράση. Το 1955 ίδρυσε την Ένωση Φιλότεχνων και το 1960 μαζί με τον Glyn Hugher την γκαλερί «Απόφαση». Πέθανε στο Sheffield το 1968.

Παρουσίασε το έργο του σε πολλές ατομικές εκθέσεις. Οργανώθηκαν οκτώ μεταθανάτιες εκθέσεις του από τις οποίες δύο αναδρομικές: 1988 Λευκωσία, Πύλη Αμμοχώστου με οργανωτή τις πολιτιστικές Υπηρεσίες του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού, 1993 Λευκωσία Πύλη Αμμοχώστου με οργανωτή τις Πολιτιστικές Υπηρεσίες του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και πολιτισμού και το ίδρυμα Χριστόφορου Σάββα 2002 με οργανωτή την γκαλερύ «Κυπριακή Γωνιά» και το ίδρυμα Χριστόφορου Σάββα.

Πήρε επίσης μέρος σε πολλές ομαδικές εκθέσεις στη Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό. Παρίσι, Βηρυτός, Πανελλήνια Έκθεση το 1968, Μπιενάλε Βενετίας, Λονδίνο, κ.ά.

Born in Marathovouno, Cyprus 1924. Studied art in London at St. Mantin’s School of Art and Heatherley’s School of Art (1947-1953) and in Paris at the Andre Lhote Academy (1956-1959). In Cyprus developed extensive artistic and cultural activities. In 1955 founded the “Art-Lovers’ Society” and in 1960 together with Glyn Hughes the Apophasis Gallery, which developed into the first cultural center of the newly-founded Cypriot Republic. Died in Sheffield in 1968.

Has presented his work in one-man exhibitions.

Eight posthumous exhibitions were organized of which two by the cultural services of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Christophoros Savva Foundation 1988 and 1993 and one on 2002 by Kypriaki Gonia Gallery and the Christoforos Savva Foundation.

Also took part in many group exhibitions: in Cyprus and abroad: Paris, Beirunt, Greece, Venice Biennale 1968, etc.
